In the past, when people got dentures, they received a full set and often struggled to adapt to them. With dentures that were fabricated years ago, it could be hard to speak, eat, and smile.
Fortunately, times have changed and advances in dentistry have made dentures a much more attractive option – on many levels – than they once were.
We’re pleased to offer the full spectrum of denture options and services, which includes:
- full dentures
- upper dentures
- lower dentures
- partial, removable dentures
- partial, fixed dentures
- dentures that are supported or anchored by dental implants
- denture repairs
- denture relines
We also can perform teeth extractions for dentures. It can be helpful to have oral sedation or IV sedation for tooth extraction procedures, and we have both of these types of sedation available.
Immediate Dentures
As an alternative to conventional dentures, we can also make “immediate” dentures. These are partial or complete dentures that can be inserted immediately following your extraction surgery. The huge advantage of immediate dentures is that you’ll never have to be seen with missing teeth or no teeth. The disadvantages are that they cost more, and that they may not fit as precisely or comfortably as conventional dentures.
Dental Implants vs Dentures
Dental implants can offer an alternative to dentures, and patients sometimes ask, “Which is better: dental implants or dentures?” That depends on a number of factors, including:
- your preferences
- your dental health
- your dental history
- your overall health
- your medical history
- your lifestyle and habits
- your budget
In a free consultation, we can discuss the various options, the steps involved, and the costs and insurance coverage.
